About

My journey in tech began in 2012, when attending the University of Geneva in Switzerland (CS), i.e. struggling with programming, maths and French.

Today, I work for an up-and-coming cloud provider, which focuses on the new era of cloud computing, providing powerful GPUs, K8 clusters, and rich features for its API- and web-based platform.
Previously, I've had the privilege to build software for a startup with magnificent growth in a tough environment; a new leader in cybersecurity; a project that tried to revolutionize the way we store data; and another startup that is innovating the way companies do business with each-other (M&A deals).

Along the way, I've delved in multiple side/small projects, while also having the chance to work with big guns such as Siemens or Trackforce Valiant. More recently, I've been trying to get into the world of Machine Learning and LLMs, while having already integrated them into my day-to-day workflow.

When the laptop lid is closed, I usually like to play some chess, entertain my cat, or go for a hike [in the  Lands Between].

    Nexgen CloudFullstack Engineer

As a fullstack engineer, I am part of a startup that's building and maintaining cloud solutions and services, with a focus on customers and features related to GPUs usage, such as Machine Learning, 3D rendering, etc.
For the first time, I have had the chance to work on a solution that is not only application-based, but also oriented towards providing infrastructure for clients, through API services. My role has been to develop and maintain the frontend and backend of the platform, as well as to contribute to scaling-up the company, through the means of standardized processes, knowledge sharing and mentorship, automated testing, etc.

    Ritech SolutionsSoftware Developer

As the 11th employee in a company that grew to over 300, I've developed diverse software solutions across various industries and company sizes. My journey includes a pioneering tool for a legal services startup, a hybrid-office and IoT management application, maintaining and developing for a major security firm, and contributing to an innovative LLM startup. My skill set spans from the (rich) TypeScript/JavaScript world, to data-rich applications, to deploying robust solutions using Docker, AWS, or Azure. My focus has mostly been on transforming complex client-side logic into accessible and effective user experiences.

    DealCircle GmbHSenior Frontend Developer

As a frontend developer, I helped develop effective, pragmatic solutions using React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and others. Tackled complex business logic and managed large datasets, significantly contributing to the product's evolution to being an 'AI and big data' M&A solution. My focus has been on crafting interfaces that are not only responsive but also intuitive, offering a UX akin to native applications like MS Excel or Airtable.

    Seraphic Algorithms Ltd.Lead Frontend Developer

Delivered software quickly and in a qualitative manner, which was pivotal for launching our product suite that not only prioritizes user privacy and security, but also maintains transparent security solutions, both in-cloud and on-premise. The challenge of publishing three distinct web-based products, including a browser extension with common business logic and occasionally shared state, was met with innovative solutions, such as robust multi-tier authentication, serverless functions, etc, contributing to a seamless UX across all platforms.

    Lead Web Developer · StoreWise

In the evolving domain of decentralized object-storage, I contributed to the development of serverless applications using React, TypeScript, AWS and the SIA dApp suite. While the project ultimately didn't succeed, it provided valuable insights and a rewarding experience working with fully remote teams and exploring the decentralized web.

    Bump · MiQ Ltd.Frontend Developer

In a startup focused on enhancing the music playlist experience, I played a key role in expanding an iOS app into a Vue-based (and later vanilla JS) web platform as part of a fully remote team. Projects

  1. June 2020 - September 2020

    Amazon ConquerorFullstack Developer

Built a web app on top of the AWS MarketPlace API, in order to provide a better, more intrinsic view of vendors, orders, inventories, etc. As the sole developer of this freelance project, I built a REST API in Node and Mongo, used to get + cache the data from MarketPlace API, and built the frontend in React, with multiple visualizations for Users and Vendors. Part of the delivery was a multi-tier authentication layer, with the help of AWS Cognito (multiple vendors with their own users). Dockerized the whole system in order to make it available on-premise for the clients and vendors, making it deployable in the client's own web servers. The project was delivered under 3 months through Upwork.
